Landscape Crew

Bell Sprinkler & Landscape Management has been providing the highest quality sprinkler systems and landscape management services to the Treasure Valley since 1974.  The landscape crew members are a vital part of the Bell Sprinkler family. 

 

Responsible For:

  • Working with a crew on landscape install and remodel projects from start to finish making sure budgets and schedules are met.

  • Must be familiar with correct planting techniques, plant varieties, and growing requirements such as sun exposure, soil, water, etc.

  • Reading landscape site plans and layout of job sites as described on plans a plus

 

Duties may include:

  • Removing existing landscaping including trees, shrubs, grass, dirt work, rockwork, etc.

  • Planting trees, shrubs, flowers and other plants as specified.

  • Helping operate small equipment, trenchers/pullers, truck and trailer.

  • Preparing areas for grass seed or sod.

  • This position requires the employee to be able to lift 50lbs and use various hand tools including shovels, rakes, etc.

  • Helping on sprinkler or maintenance crews as needed.

 

Our normal year includes working from March through November/December.  Depending on weather, we may work more than that. Applicant must have a valid Idaho drivers license and clean driving record. Must be able to work closely with foreman, other crew members, and clients. Applicant must contain excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

Salary : DOE

Work Schedule : Mon - Fri 8:00am - 5:00pm

 

Sprinkler Crew

Bell Sprinkler & Landscape Management has been providing the highest quality sprinkler systems and landscape management services to the Treasure Valley since 1974.  The sprinkler crew is a vital part of the Bell Sprinkler family. 

 

Responsible For:

  • Working with a crew on sprinkler install and remodeling projects from start to finish making sure budgets and schedules are met.

  • Must have a working knowledge of sprinkler system design and installation procedures.

  • Reading landscape and irrigation site plans and layout of systems as described on plans.

 

Duties may include:

  • Laying out sprinkler system parts including heads, valves, pipes, etc.

  • Installing and assembling various sprinkler parts

  • Operating small equipment, trenchers/pullers, truck and trailer.

  • Preparing areas for grass seed or sod.

  • This position requires the employee to be able to dig 4' x 4' x 4' holes to tie into water sources.

  • Be able to lift 50lbs and use various hand tools including shovels, rakes, etc.

  • Adjusting sprinkler heads.

  • Clean up work area to leave as little impact as possible.

  • Helping on landscape or maintenance crews as needed.

 

Our normal year includes working from March through November/December.  Depending on weather, we may work more than that.  Our specialty is established yards.  All sprinkler crew members will be required to treat our client's yards as their own.  Applicant must have a valid Idaho drivers license and clean driving record. Must be able to work closely with managers, crew members, and clients. Applicant must contain excellent written and verbal communication skills.
